The Department of Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is the home of PlayMakers Repertory Company, North Carolina’s flagship professional theatre. It is widely known for its excellent productions and for the amazing spectacle it puts on stage. From its very beginning, PlayMakers Repertory Company has used scenery, lighting, sound, and costumes to transport audiences to other worlds and other places in time.
