Kara Wong’s appointment as library software applications developer is effective June 20, 2022
The University Libraries is pleased to welcome Kara Wong as library software applications developer effective June 20, 2022.
In this role, Wong will design, implement, test and support software projects. She will also evaluate advanced technologies and services and will implement or customize them for the University Libraries. Wong’s work on both new and existing projects will support the business needs of the Library and will advance the teaching, learning, research and scholarly missions of the University.
Wong holds an M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and served as a Carolina Academic Library Associate at the University Libraries. Her B.S. in Engineering Physics is from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
