There may be fewer classes in session during the summer months, but Davis Library stays busy year-round. This summer, the University Libraries is working on several projects that will improve your experience this fall.
Fresh Paint
Whether you are looking for the perfect study space or seeking that one book for your research, you’ll find Floors 3-8 of Davis Library looking a little fresher this fall. We have already started painting all six floors, with work set to wrap up in early August.
Bathroom Improvements
A new accessible, gender-neutral, single-stall restroom is now open on Davis Library’s third floor. This is part of a larger effort to improve bathrooms throughout Davis, and work on additional restrooms of this kind is expected to start this fall.
Patio Updates
The patio space near the Edible Campus Main Garden is a great place to eat, work or just take a break, and it’s getting even better. The Libraries and Edible Campus have given the area a deep cleaning and new signage, and we are working on adding additional seating. There’s never been a better time to enjoy this beautiful space.
