Appointment: Humanities librarian

In this role, Fader will work to build interdisciplinary partnerships that serve the research, teaching and learning needs of Carolina’s faculty and students. She will provide support for work in humanities and related disciplines through research consultations; inclusive instruction and course development; and collaboration with library colleagues to build inclusive collections in the humanities. Fader will also engage in scholarship and service within the libraries, across campus and beyond.

Fader has served as interim humanities librarian since 2019. She previously worked as circulation services manager and information associate at Davis Library.

Fader holds an M.S. in Library and Information Science from North Carolina Central University and an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a B.A. in German-International Trade and a B.A. in French from Auburn University.
