The University Library’s Global Resources and Area Studies (GRAS) section provides a variety of services and resources to support the research, teaching and outreach initiatives of the global centers, programs, students, and scholars at UNC. The GRAS librarians offer in-depth knowledge of regional history and culture, including specialized language skills; engage with scholarly, technical, and professional research and knowledge production across disciplines in the humanities and social sciences; and, develop strong research collections addressing the needs of our campus and global collaborations. The GRAS Librarians work in conjunction with other subject librarians to offer a range of services to UNC and the scholarly community including:
