Course Reserves
Place your course reading lists on print reserves or e-reserves.

Teaching/Assignment Consultations
Meet with a librarian to identify specific research resources available for your course. We can also create a coursepage that highlights relevant resources to help your students with their research assignments.

Instruction Sessions
Have a librarian tailor a library instruction session for your class research assignment.

Media Resources Center
Get films for your class, meet with the film librarian, get digital media instruction or set a session up for your class, borrow equipment, and arrange class screenings of films in the UL.

Design Lab
The Design Lab has several scanners, the Adobe Creative Suite and experienced staff to help. We can lead instruction sessions for your class assignments that require the use of web or design software.

For your Research

Borrowing Materials
Use your UNC One Card to borrow materials. See loan policies for more information. Material may be renewed online before the due date.

Carolina BLU & Interlibrary loan
Have materials delivered from other campuses (ILL) or even UNC’s libraries. Articles held only in print can be scanned and delivered by email with Carolina BLU.

Borrowing Privileges at Other NC Universities
Use your One Card to borrow books from any TRLN (Duke, NC State, and NC Central) and UNC System library.

Recommend a Title for Purchase
Request materials needed for research or teaching

Citation Management
Schedule a consultation to learn how to use citation management software, including RefWorks, EndNote, and Zotero.

Research Data Management Planning
Discuss and plan your research data management needs with members of the Libraries’ Data Management Committee and staff from the Carolina Digital Repository. Contact them at dataplan@listserv.unc.edu.

Data Services
Get help finding existing research data sets from sources such as the Census Bureau, ICPSR, and more.
