Campus Libraries Open as of Noon on Friday

Update Jan. 19, 11 a.m.

Campus libraries will all re-open at noon today and operate on normal schedules, with the exception of the Information and Library Science Library, which will close at 5 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. Welcome back, Heels!

The University of North Carolina will end suspended operations at noon on Friday, Jan. 19. Most campus libraries will open at that time. The Art Library and Stone Center Library for Black Culture and History may have delayed openings. Some libraries may close early. Please check with individual libraries for specific hours.

Update Jan. 18, 8 p.m.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has extended Condition 2 (suspended operations) until at least noon on Friday, Jan. 19. All campus libraries will remain closed while the University operates in Condition 2.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has extended Condition 2 (suspended operations) until at least 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19. All campus libraries will remain closed while the University operates in Condition 2.

Update Jan. 17 at 3:15 p.m.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will suspend operations (Condition 2) until noon on Thursday, Jan. 18. All campus libraries will be closed at least until that time.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will suspend operations (Condition 2) on Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 6 a.m. until at least 5 p.m. because of winter weather. All campus libraries will be closed during that time.
