Pharmacy Syllabus Text Analysis

The Eshelman School of Pharmacy was conducting a review of syllabi, looking for overlaps across courses offered in the graduate program. Faculty and students tagged each syllabus with a controlled vocabulary of topics and skills covered in each course. The Research Hub Data Analyst provided help transforming these topics into reports to determine where and to what extent each possible pair of courses overlapped. The results were used to raise awareness and inform discussions about opportunities for improving efficiencies within the curriculum.
