The University Libraries at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Director of Development who will work closely with the Executive Director of Library Development in cultivating new and expanding current philanthropic relationships and who will provide creative, energetic, and strategic leadership for the Libraries’ development activities. The Director of Development will have substantial major gifts expertise and will lead and mentor another fundraising professional. The UNC Libraries have raised $45.6 million toward a goal of $50 million as part of For All Kind—the Campaign for Carolina which concludes in December 2022.  Plans for celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Wilson Library in 2029 anticipate a new campaign with a goal of $100+ million.
