  • Wage: $7.25 / hr.

 

Slavic and East European Collections

Knowledge of a Slavic language (minimum 2 years college-level or equivalent) and of Cyrillic alphabet REQUIRED, as are attention to detail, accurate keyboarding, willingness to learn, ability to follow directions and work steadily, carefully and both independently and cooperatively with other students and supervisors.

  • Hours/week: 8+, flexible schedule M-F between 9AM and 6PM, as agreed with supervisor
  • Wage: $7.25 / hr.
  • Start Date: immediate/flexible

Main duties (training will be provided):

  • Processing newly received Slavic and East European materials: unpacking books, journals, DVDs, examining them for damage and checking them off invoices; creating accurate bibliographic and order records.
  • Searching gift materials or lists of available titles in online catalog to avoid duplication.
  • Special projects as they arise.
