Windows fall 2019 issue

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education has selected the University Libraries’ magazine, Windows, as a bronze-level Circle of Excellence Award winner in the category of publishing improvement.

Through the Circle of Excellence Awards, CASE recognizes innovative, inspiring and creative ideas that advance the work of its members. The awards acknowledge superior accomplishments that have lasting impact, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and deliver exceptional results.

The University Libraries publishes Windows twice each year, mailing each issue to current Friends of the Library, plus campus constituents and others involved with the work of the University Libraries.

The arrival of Elaine L. Westbrooks as associate provost for University Libraries and University librarian in 2017 provided the impetus for re-envisioning the mission, content and presentation of Windows. Today’s magazine strives to provide a holistic view of the University Libraries, the advantage that it provides to the University and to researchers and the ways that private giving advances Library reach and impact.

You can ensure that you receive every issue of Windows by becoming a Friend of the Library with your gift of $25 or more. Learn more by contacting a member of the Library Development Office.
