Six UNC-Chapel Hill students have received Incubator Awards from the University Libraries. The grants will allow them to complete creative projects that make use of the libraries’ rare and historical special collections.

Actors from PlayMakers Repertory Company will read the words of Carolina students, from the University’s earliest days through the present, drawn from historic documents and letters in the Wilson Special Collections Library.

Two documents and two photographs from UNC’s Wilson Special Collections Library are part of the “Slavery and Freedom” exhibition at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
