Carolina faculty and postdocs can now apply to the UNC Adobe Small Grants Program: Communicating Research with Digital Media. Recipients are awarded $1,000 to communicate their research using Adobe’s Creative Cloud Software.
The program is a partnership between Adobe, the Center for Faculty Excellence and the University Libraries.
Research, instruction and scholarly collaboration increasingly occur in digital spaces, and the Communicating Research with Digital Media grants help researchers learn to communicate their research digitally, too. Funding can be used to reimburse recipients for time spent developing and applying digital media skills or to purchase supporting digital tools and related materials.
Those with little to no experience using Adobe tools are especially encouraged to apply, and applicants do not need to know precisely how they will use the tools. An introductory workshop will introduce participants to a wide range of examples, showing the many possibilities that Adobe’s tools offer.
Applications are due Tuesday, November 28, at 5 p.m.
