A traveling exhibition highlighting advances in global health will be on view at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Health Sciences Library from January 17 through February 25, 2023.
“Making a World of Difference: Stories about Global Health” explores efforts by communities, scientists, governments and international organizations to prevent disease and improve quality of life. The National Library of Medicine produced the exhibition.
The stories featured in “Making a World of Difference” demonstrate how global health leaders have taken an expansive view of medical care in projects that improve access to primary healthcare, reduce discrimination and address health information needs. They highlight how the shared desire for health can be a powerful, unifying force and provide inspiration for ongoing work to build healthier communities around the world.
