Media Lab Student Assistant, Media Resources Center (Undergraduate Library)

Student assistants who work in the Media Lab at the Media Resources Center are responsible for helping students, faculty, and staff with a wide range of multi-media projects. Projects may include but are not limited to video editing, transferring media between various formats, and recording music. The media lab is a great place to enhance your multi-media experience and learn about new types of software all while helping to serve the UNC community. Join the fun group of student assistants and supervisors at the MRC and get some great hands on experience with video and audio editing!


Essential Job Requirements:

*Service-oriented (must have a great public service ethic!)

*Timely and dependable

*Willing to listen and learn

*Follows directions

*Ability to multi-task and help multiple patrons at the same time

*Attentive and detail-oriented

*Prior media experience (especially with Adobe CC) recommended but not required


The MRC is currently looking for a student assistant to work the following shifts: Mondays from 8-11:30am, Tuesdays from 8-11am & 1-2:30pm, and Wednesdays from 11-12:45pm. There will be the possibility to work more hours in future semesters.
